Molecular Carbon is a carbon absorbent that has cylindrical holes with a diameter of 4 angstroms. It is a type of absorbent that is an ideal combination of activated carbon and zeolite in one product.
Molecular Carbon or CMS is a combination of activated carbon raw material due to its high nitrogen absorption power and its storage in the active carbon structure, and it is specially used to absorb materials with a diameter below 10 angstroms. While activated carbon cannot work well in absorbing particles of this size. Molecular reactors are the best option for separating oxygen and nitrogen from each other, which are recommended to be used in nitrogen gas production units by the PSA method to increase nitrogen purity. Molecular carbon is specially used (in nitrogen generators) in the process of absorbing oxygen from nitrogen, which is one of the most vital parts in natural gas processing.
This process is carried out and repeated in two stages through a PSA system (adsorption by pressure fluctuations).
In the first step: the gas enters the PSA generator . Nitrogen is not absorbed by molecular carbon due to its high molecular weight. But oxygen is absorbed by the molecular absorber. As a result, nitrogen is removed as a product of the separation process.
In the second stage: due to pressure reduction, oxygen is slowly released from the holes of molecular carbon, and as a result, the adsorbent is regenerated and the separation process can be repeated twice.
Oxygen is slowly released from the holes of molecular carbon, which is one of the effects of pressure reduction. And the absorbent is revived. In this way, the separation process is repeated twice.
Gamma Industrial Group is a specialized importer of this product, which, with its combined experience in the production of activated carbon and other absorbents, offers this product for all kinds of domestic uses and needs
