Boric acid: To produce boric acid using sulfuric acid, first sodium borax is poured into the reaction tank and then dilute sulfuric acid is added slowly until the
solution becomes strongly acidic and the pH approaches zero. In this case, a saturated solution of borax or orthoborate is formed. Then the hot solution is crystallized in vacuum and cooled. In this case, boric acid crystals will form. The crystals are separated from the solution and the remaining solution is cooled to obtain sodium sulfate as a side and secondary product. In the next step, raw boric acid becomes pure boric acid by recrystallization with hot water and will be ready for packaging and sale.

Phosphoric acid: industrial and edible phosphoric acid is obtained from crude acid purification. Raw phosphoric acid is usually produced from the chemical reaction of sulfuric acid with phosphate soil and then it is converted into industrial and edible phosphoric acid in the purification units. Raw phosphoric acid is used in chemical fertilizer industries, industrial phosphoric acid is used in phosphating and industrial detergents, degreasers and color removers, textile industries, wastewater treatment, soap and non-soap cleaners, and production of Teflon containers. Edible phosphoric acid is mainly used in the production of vegetable oil, as an additive in the production of carbonated drinks, water purification, animal feed and pharmaceuticals, and animal and poultry feed supplements (di and monocalcium phosphate). Edible phosphoric acid is prepared by adding water to P2O5 or from phosphate rock in the vicinity of sulfuric acid. Phosphoric acid is a weak acid that cannot be dangerous under normal conditions and for a short period of time.
